Enabling Active X for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 * Initial View Only
1. Click Tools then Internet Options.
2. Click Security.
3. Click Internet.
4. Click Custom Level.
5. Scroll to the Active X controls and plug-ins and verify that the options are set to Enable or Prompt.
6. Scroll to the Scripting Section and verify that Active Scripting is set to Enable or Prompt.
Note: Clicking a checked box removes the checkmark and disables the feature.
If you see checkmarks in the Enable or Prompt boxes, do not click on the checked boxes.
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK.

*Upon completion of step 5 below return settings to previous values or reset to previous or defaul security level.

Step 1: 
Choose: "Mpeg4 Encoder Viewer"
Press: "Submit"

 

 

 

Step 2a: Modem Users
 Choose: "Modem" 
Press: "Submit"
Go to Step: 3a

Step 2b: High Speed Users
 Choose: "DSL/CABLE/T-1"
Choose: "1 Window" or "2 Windows" 
Press: "Submit" 
Go to Step: 3a

Or choose: "Multi View"
Press: "Submit" 
Go to Step: 4a
(Multi View only supported on Windows 2000 and XP with high-speed connection)


 

 

Step 3a:  1 Window or 2 Windows Login

Press the "Play" button


 Step 3b:

Login username: demo
Login password: demo
Press "OK"

 



 

Step 4a:   Multi View Login

Multi View plug-in will download.  This is a one time step that must be done the first time you use the remote viewing software on a new computer.

Step 4b:

Login username: demo
Login password: demo
Press "OK"


 


Step 5:
View the live demos.
Try changing views, and zooming in on the cameras.
