Manage all of your Locations at Once

Surveillance Systems With Centralized Management

Centralized Management

If you're responsible for businesses at multiple locations, you understand how difficult it can be. After all, you can't be two places at once. Even with Remote Monitoring, you can't even watch two places at once. Or can you?

The problem you typically run into is that your security systems are managed by different apps. Consider yourself lucky if you can even run those different apps on the same hardware, some apps aren't compatible with Apple products, some apps are only compatible with Apple products, and some aren't mobile friendly at all! Switching between apps is time consuming, crashes are frequent, and you spend more time messing around with the software than actually monitoring your facility.

Centralized Management with Camera Security Now means that if you have systems installed at different locations, they will be viewable from the same app. Cameras from one of your sites can be viewed side-by-side with cameras from another. Cycle through all of your cameras at all of your locations efficiently. Don't worry about the hassle of remembering several different logins to view your cameras.

Perfect for Franchise Restaurants and Chain Stores

Restaurant Cameras

Regional Managers are often responsible for a dozen or more stores, and sometimes there are considerable distances between locations. You don't know what's going on when you're not there. Even if you trust your shift managers, it only takes one or two problem employees to disrupt your business.
Restaurant Cameras

Do you ever get complaints about staff, but when you are in the store, they are on their best behavior? Conflicting he-said, she-said stories that just don't add up? Problems that seem to occur only as certain locations, or when certain employees are on duty? It is very difficult to address behavior when you can't even prove it is happening. It's hard enough to run one business, so if you have several locations, you need complete, round-the-clock visibility of what is going on at every one of your locations.

Video Walls

Centralized Management

Typical camera view layouts display between 1 and 16 cameras at a time. Our viewing software supports viewing more than 16 cameras at once on PC, but the viewing window starts to get too small on most monitors to tell what's going on. Very large monitors can be utilized to view up to 64 cameras at once.

However, if you have a dozen locations, and just a dozen cameras at each location, your viewing needs are much greater than that! If you set up a dozen different camera views, so that you can cycle through your cameras one location after the next, that's still a lot of cycling. There are strategies you can employ to select cameras to monitor that are most likely to catch interesting activity, but what if you really want to view all of your cameras at once?

Several monitors can be joined together as a video wall to view a truly staggering number of cameras at once. With multiple monitors, you can also maximize one camera view to monitor certain activity more closely, while still retaining your multiple-camera views on the other monitors. Combining centralized management with video walls gives you unparalleled visibility and control of your multi-location business.

Frequently Asked Questions For Centralized Management

How does centralized management work?

Centralized management works similarly to remote access in the sense that you can view your cameras from an off-site location. However, the difference is that with centralized management you can remotely view your cameras from only one location. Though the bonuses of having your cameras set up in this fashion is that you don't have to worry about finding a remote app to view your cameras that is compatible with your phone as this is all set up on a computer and you can view cameras from multiple locations or buildings in one convenient place.

How many cameras can be viewed through centralized management?

All of your cameras can be viewed through a centralized management system, even if your cameras aren't all on the same property. Depending on the number of cameras though you might not be able to view them all at once but you can easily switch between cameras. Camera footage is shwon through a software installed on a computer and can be displayed for viewing on multiple monitors, TVs, or video walls.

Can centralized management be used for small businesses?

Absolutely, while centralized management is ideal for businesses with multiple locations it can still be applied to small businesses. A centralized management system would still be set up in the same way as if it were a larger business except your computer with the supporting software will be onsite and can constantly display all your camera footage at once and in real time.
