Sound Effects when Escorting Prisoners

Officers can hear a faint siren sound effect when a prisoner is escorted through the station past the prisoner zone. They know just by the sound, that there is a prisoner being escorted to jail. The cameras are activated by movement. There is a separate entrance that officers use to escort prisoners to booking then on to the holding cell. Once movement is detected in this area, the system begins recording and stamps the video file with the date and time.

Security Cameras in the Jail Cells

Once inside the jail cell, the prisoner is monitored by a bullet proof, camera that can not be gripped, moved or damaged. Color images are recorded with any movement by the prisoner. Additionally, all sounds are captured with the video. This evidence is watermarked and easily played back by using Microsoft's Media Player or Real Audio's Real Player.

Security Cameras in Interview Rooms

The interview rooms have covert cameras that also record sound. Evidence and confessions are more likely to be admissible in a court of law due to the tamper-proof watermarking that the video displays. Each frame is digitally watermarked with a location name, the time (down to fractions of seconds) and the date.

When someone appears at the dispatchers window, a unique sound alerts everyone in the room that there is someone waiting at the window.

Infrared and low lux cameras capture images with minimal light (.001 lux). These cameras can almost see in total darkness. If there is any problem in the parking lot, especially during the transport of prisoners from cruiser to cell, you have the video.

Distribution of Security Camera Video is Easy

Since all video is saved in AVI format, all modern computers can automatically play the video back. Files can easily be emailed, copied across the network or copied to CD or DVD.
