Object Counting and SMB Blog
People Counting Feature

This new feature on the GeoVision CCTV DVR Camera Server, counts the number of objects (for example: people, vehicles, animals) passing through a pre-defined area.

People are a lot more than just a number with our Object/People Counting feature.

The  system provides retailers with an integrated solution for measuring traffic and determining sales closure rates.

People Counting can help retailers assess the success of advertising campaigns, schedule employees efficiently, design top notch store layouts and merchandising displays, and more. When the numbers count, retailers need People Counting.

Both IN and OUT are counted separately.
Counted result will be logged in the system database. The database can be used to report for specified period of times. Great for Tradeshow and event counts.

You may define counter by object size, direction of movement, and detection area.

The system then counts number of objects passing through the predefined areas.
