Infrared Cameras (IR) Now Appearing Everywhere

The infrared camera is showing up in cars, doctors offices, parking lots, preventing power failure even termite inspections. IR Cams can see in total darkness, or improve any low light condition. Here are just a few examples where infrared cameras are appearing for the first time:

Home inspectors are now using IR cameras to detect termite presence inside walls and underneath any building.

Preventing Power Failure

Infrared cameras scan of electrical fuse boxes, high tension lines and other electrical components. Automotive Use

Automakers are now begining to recognize the added benefit of infrared cameras. Experiments in test markets utilize an IR located in the rear bumer. IR technology helps drivers see with greater contrast and definition when backing up. Some IR car cameras operate under total darkness for distance up to (30) thirty feet. The built-in infrared LEDs turn on automatically under low light conditions.
